Woodbridge House

Sorry I didn't have internet for the last week or so, but here's what I've been up to recently:

This is Woodbridge House in, well, Woodbridge, Western Australia

The colony's first governor, Captain James Stirling built a cottage on this site in 1931. But it wasn't until 1883 that Charles Harper, part owner of the West Australian Newspaper, purchased the land and, in 1885, built the house that you can see in the pictures below

Woodbridge House is quite an impressive, but a little hard to find as it's tucked away in the back roads near the Swan River

The private Jetty behind Woodbridge House not only provides access to the calm waters of the Swan River, but also some magnificent views on the surrounding vinyards and farms.

This image is created out of a total of 40 images. That sounds overwhelming but really its a combination of 8x5 HDR images first fused with LREnfuse and then stitched into the panoramic image using Autopano Giga and final touch-up were done in Lightroom and NIK Analog Efex 2.0
