If travelling East from Margaret River on Rosa Brook Rd, you will eventually pass this intriguing old general store...
I love rustic old buildings like this to death! Especially the old timber has a special place in my heart. The shop's interior is kept just as vintage as the exterior with loads of tin cans on the shelves. Unfortunately when we went there on Sunday, the store was closed and we could only peek through the windows, but I am planning to go back soon and take some interior shots, if the owners permit.
Right next to the store one can find this relic of an old truck that if virtually just kept together by the rust itself :)
It's a fantastic display though and adds to the store's character. It really makes you feel like you traveled back in time 50 years and that only 15 minutes outside Margaret River town.
