Quinninup Falls

Quinninup Falls, Western Australia

Last weekend I headed down south to Margaret River and, while having dinner, I wondered if there are any waterfalls in the area worth seeing. A quick google search brought up a forum post with the title "Secret waterfall in the Margaret River region". I was immediately intrigued!
A little more research revealed that this secret waterfall was only an hours walk from the car park at Moses Rock beach(which isn't strictly Margaret River anymore, but close enough for me...).

Mia is still a puppy

It's cool and windy along the Coast of Southwest Australia

Old fence posts along the Cape-to-cape track
The walk itself is really beautiful although some waterproof shoes would have been nice as parts of the track were covered in puddles/little streams as is to be expected around this time of the year in this area.

We brought a friends puppy along which I find made for some nice photos.

Beautiful WA Coast line

She's good for funny faces alright :)

Just a note: The waterfall is not immediately visible from the track if you're heading north from the Moses Rock car park. Keep your eyes open for a large patch of red dirt(see the two pictures above) and turn inland from there. The falls are only 200 or so Meters from there.

You can't beat a 'selfie' in front of a waterfall!

Just as we returned to the car park, the sky turned grey and it started to rain again. I think we can count ourselves lucky as it didn't rain for the entire 3 hours we were out there.
