Last weekend we decided to head down to the Zoo in Perth. We were lucky enough to catch a beautifully sunny day and really enjoyed seeing all these magnificent creatures. Although I prefer seeing them in the wild, rather than in captivity, I got the impression that most the animals were looked after really well , although some enclosures could have been bigger.
Nonetheless Perth Zoo is quite a fun day out with plenty of trees to avoid the scorching sun and a wide range of animals on display. You can even walk through the "Australian Bush" and see the likes of Kangaroos, Wallabies and Quokkas up close - and by that I mean petting distance!
