Armed with my recently Magic-Lantern-hacked Camera and a new tripod, I kicked myself in the butt and went out on a small trip to visit a few places that have had my attention for quite some time now. All in all, I couldn't be happier! See for yourself...

Bells Rapids, Brigadoon

Not much water in the "rapids" during summer, I'm planing to go back there during the wet months and take more shots. Still an interesting place, not too far from Perth.

Perth Zoo

Last weekend we decided to head down to the Zoo in Perth. We were lucky enough to catch a beautifully sunny day and really enjoyed seeing all these magnificent creatures. Although I prefer seeing them in the wild, rather than in captivity, I got the impression that most the animals were looked after really well , although some enclosures could have been bigger.
